Soon: A New Home + Little Things
My new website and blog will be up this weekend - hooray! I am very pleased with myself seeing as how I knew zero CSS before I attempted to do this. *happy wiggle*
Other things -
1. Watching people fight and be angry on the Internet can be as distressing as watching people fight and be angry in real life.
2. I feel more in conversation with God these days, and more comfortable with asking myself tough questions about what I believe about the nature of goodness, and the ability of people to change, and who or what really controls the universe (if anyone/thing). Sometimes I think I have less faith in people, however. We can be so stupid … and then there are those who, by virtue of their character and courage, make me believe that God is not out there, but in here.
3. I need to spend more time with my family. I love them very much.
4. Talk of good things and making life better makes me happier than complaints.
5. I am practically addicted to the garlic bread made by the San Francisco Bread Company (and sold by Costco). Toasted with butter/Earth Balance, it is like heaven on a stick - err, minus the stick.
6. Fireplaces are a real blessing.
7. Gandhi believed he could change the world. What do you believe about yourself?
Added: I didn’t see this or my last (now deleted) post in UUpdates - is anyone else seeing it in UUpdates?

I suppose I would want to believe I can change the world, well, maybe the little bubble of a society around me. Although, I’ve had several disturbing revelations along the way, but I think I’ll still try to stay the course.
I can’t wait to see the new site!
Thanks, Philo!
Samawel: yes, to staying the course!
I believe that I can (and do) change the world a little each day. Love your blogs … and you!

p.s. I read Pedagogy of the Oppressed a while back (for school).
