Reality Check
Today I:
- had a scare
- cried
- ate a cheeseburger
- told Michael he was wonderful at least 20 times
- fretted over herbs
- collected the mail, then abandoned it
- felt guilty
- bought new pants
- confessed to Michael that I’d miscalculated a debt - by a lot
- listened to muzak for 27 minutes
- drove in the rain
- didn’t ask Mom what was wrong, even though she looked upset
- comforted a friend via email
- laughed at women’s group
- fell in love with Coconut Bliss and homemade, organic blueberry sauce
- had a blood test
- read bell hooks
- picked up my niece from dance team practice
- wished my brother a happy birthday
- learned about natural selection vs. randomness in evolution
- thought about love
- filled out an expense report
- watched Grave of Fireflies with a handful of Japanese hard candies
- ate a cornish game hen baked with a brick, bacon, and pearl onions
- turned down the heat

It is the guilt I hate.
You sound as though you had a rather human day.
I’m not sure how many bullet points I’d need to note everything I did today, but they wouldn’t be as many in number as yours.
